Namaqua,
the popular range of boxed and bottled wines from Namaqua Wines,
caters for the taste and pocket of the majority of South African
and international wine drinkers. Namaqua is the largest selling
wine brand in South Africa. This success can be attributed to the
dedication of our winemakers to deliver value to our consumers,
to extensive advertising & promotions, as well as distribution
that ensures availability in even the smallest towns throughout
South Africa.
The Namaqua boxed wines are available in 3 and 5 litre units consisting
of 10 different varieties. The range includes the ever-popular Natural
Sweet Rosé, two Weigh-Less accredited wines, as well as red,
white and rosé blends that cater for every taste.
Being the leader in the boxed wine category is only a part of the
success of the brand. This popular portfolio is complemented by
the cellar door exclusives which include the recently launched Spencer
Bay Reserve wines and Guinevere Cap Classique sparkling wine.
These cellar door exclusives have been very well received, as the
results from the 2009 wine shows clearly demonstrate. At The Michelangelo
International Wine Awards the wines were awarded 1 Double Gold and
2 Gold medals. Other accolades include 1 SA Champion, 2 Class Winners
and 5 Gold medals at the SA National Young Wine Show.
These wines, and many more from surrounding cellars, are available
at die Keldery, our state of the art visitor centre, which offers
the visitor a complete food and wine experience. It boasts a comfortable
tasting room, while the spacious restaurant offers a selection of
lekker local dishes and relaxing views of the vineyards and the
Maskam Mountains.
Maak die Keldery deel van u volgende Namaqua ervaring
en geniet ware Weskus gasvryheid, 'n heerlike glas wyn en van die
mooiste sonsondergange in die land.
